Bangladesh Institute of Capital Markets (BICM) is pleased to announce its 1st Annual Conference on Capital Market on June 5, 2024, focusing on “Innovation in Capital Market.” The conference aims to bring together experts, academics, professionals, and policymakers to discuss and deliberate on crucial aspects shaping the capital market landscape in Bangladesh.
Conference Theme and Topics:
The conference theme revolves around the critical pillars of the capital market ecosystem, namely, but not limited to

• Technological advancements and market innovations in the capital market
• Digital transformation in the capital market
• AI, machine learning, and their implications
• Financial reporting practices in the capital market
• Fostering responsible financial strategies
• Integrated reporting and its influence on accountability
• The role of accounting in promoting responsible business practices
• Innovative financial instruments in the capital market
• Macroeconomic policy and financial markets
• Governance in the capital market
• Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations for listed companies
• Sustainable business practices and implementation
• Banking and insurance
• HR policies for capital market
• Marketing of capital market products
• Capital market microstructure
• Strategies for capital market investment

Publication:
ALL ACCEPTED PAPERS will be published in conference e-proceeding (with ISSN), and selected journal papers may be published in BICM Journal, The Journal of Financial Markets and Governance (JFMG), with further review and in accordance with journal policy.
Awards and Rewards: There will be TWO best papers awards with prize money.
Registration Fees: BDT 6000 per participant, which includes conference materials, lunch, snacks, and a gala dinner.
Submission Guidelines:
Full papers (3,000-6,000 words) along with the extended abstracts (250-300 words) should be submitted, following a scientific approach, which includes but is not limited to:
Title: The title of the article;
Introduction; Literature Review; Methodology; Results and Analysis; Conclusion and Acknowledgment (if any)

• Submissions must be in English and adhere to APA citation style.
• Submissions to be sent to accm@bicm.ac.bd
  Important Dates:
• Abstract Submission Deadline May 16, 2024
• Full Paper Submission Deadline: May 26, 2024
• Notification of Acceptance: May 30, 2024
• Conference Date: June 05, 2024
• Conference Time: 10 am to 4 pm, followed by the best paper award ceremony and a gala dinner from 7 pm onward.
