Introducing the first of its kind Postgraduate Diploma in Capital Market (PGDCM) in Bangladesh
Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) is the national institute for imparting practical capital market training and education. BICM is striving to be a center of professional excellence through disseminating recent and updated theoretical and practical knowledge.
BICM is offering PGDCM for the market intermediaries, full spectrum of market professionals and graduates who aspire to pursue career in the capital market. The diploma will provide a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge on market mechanism, legal framework, new instruments and techniques.

The 1- year long PGDCM program consists of 12 courses of 36 credit hours and 1 non-credit course with completion of internship or submission of project paper. The program is divided into three trimesters. Four courses are offered in each trimester as follows:

- Code: D-103- Financial Mathematics and Statistics;

B. Intermediate Courses:
- Code: D-201- Security Analysis;
- Code: D-202- Basic Econometrics;
- Code: D-203- Corporate Finance;
- Code: D-204- Legal Environment of Business.
C. Advance Courses:
- Code: D-301- Capital Market Operation;
- Code: D-302- Financial Derivatives and Alternative Investment;
- Code: D-303- Securities Laws;
- Code: D-304- Portfolio Management and Financial Modeling.
Applicant’s eligibility:
Graduation or it’s equivalent in any discipline and satisfactory performance in the Admission Test.
Selection Procedure:
Written Test (On English, Mathematics, Analytical Ability and General Knowledge) and Viva-Voice.

45 (Including 20% Institutional quota)
